This one
day in the gym changed my life forever!
I walked in
the gym that day. Like I had every other day for the last 2 years, without
gaining a single pound of muscle.
Two years
of training and still a 140 pound weakling and still women wouldn´t give me the
time a day.
But then it
happened. I was standing in the squat rack doing curls, you know 100% hardcore
and all that stuff…
Suddenly
there was this shadow.
The sun darkened and it seemed like the earth started
shaking. I heard a deep voice and I almost shit myself, because I was so scared
to turn around…
When I
finally did, there he stood.
My first
thought was Zeus himself had stepped down from mount Olympus!
The man
that stood behind me looked like the child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and a
silverback. (From what we know now, such a child might not be as unlikely as it
sounds in the first place, have you seen a pic of his latest affair?)
The whole
experience was surreal…
I didn´t
know it at that time, but this muscle monster would soon be my mentor. How this came to be? Well, that´s a story for
another time…
He was the
man that turned me from a 140 pound weakling into this, I should add natural (I
tried juice in my first year of training before being mentored by Frank and
started pissing blood 3 weeks in, never tried it again…):
I added
about 40 pounds of rock solid muscle in my first year following his advice and
mentorship.
Unfortunately, my mentor “Big Frank” recently passed away in a
tragic car accident. After 10 years I had lost my best friend and probably the
single most influential person in my entire life.
He did not
only make me a bigger, but also a better man!
In memoriam
of him, I came up with this idea to honor him as well as help YOU! By sharing
his wisdom and training philosophy/knowledge with you and the world.
You see, we
are all in this together! This quest for more muscles and a better physique.
Since I
dislike the idea of blogging (the idea of some skinny strangers badmouthing
Frank makes me wanna puke…), I came up with the idea of a newsletter.
